☀️ Chattanooga’s Scoop — 8/24/26
💭 Quote of the Week
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” — Aesop
Sometimes making Chattanooga a better place doesn’t require doing something huge. It can be as simple as helping a neighbor, sharing a meal, or just making somebody feel seen.
❤️ The Good News
🚿 A Hot Shower, a Home-Cooked Meal & a Little Humanity
One Hixson woman is showing just how far a little kindness can go.
She’s opening her home to provide warm showers and home-cooked meals to people experiencing homelessness — giving people something even more important along the way: dignity and a place where they feel seen.
🚁 Could Amazon Drones Be Coming to Chattanooga?
Your next Amazon package might eventually arrive from the sky.
Amazon is planning to expand its drone delivery service to as many as 500 cities, and Chattanooga could potentially find itself on that list.
Whether you think it sounds awesome or a little crazy, it’s another reminder of how quickly the way we live and shop is changing.
🏗️ A $130 Million Development Is Coming to Broad Street
Another major investment is officially underway in Chattanooga.
Ground has been broken on Station 33, a massive $130 million mixed-use development on Broad Street.
Projects like this continue to reshape Chattanooga and bring new investment, housing and activity into the city.

Keep looking for the good, keep supporting local, and keep making Chattanooga a pretty great place to call home.
See y'all next week. 👋
